The 55-12 months-antique actor - who battled with alcoholism
inside the 90's but launched into a journey to sobriety in 1998 after meeting
his spouse Clare - has admitted he hasn't touched a drop of liquor seeing that
he gave up, but he is nonetheless trying to triumph over the
"disorder" that plagued him each day.

former 'Coronation road' star - who performed the role of Curly Watts in the
longstanding soap for over two decades from 1983 to 2003- said: "yes, I

still usually there within the back of my thoughts - as is the disease it is

And because of being a reformed alcoholic, Kevin has
admitted he needed to discover ways to love his wife again.
He explained: "i've been sober now for 18 years. but
the trouble now is you recognize in case you're a married couple and you undergo
that collectively you would possibly get sober and say 'I do not like you any
extra'. We needed to go through all that wooing stuff again."
And Kevin - who checked in for treatment at London's
The Priory - has praised his bosses at ITV for the way they handled his
addiction on the time.
He introduced: "['Coronation Street'] changed into

get a higher employee back and really loyal."
meanwhile, Kevin has made no mystery he would like to go
back to the cobbles.
