The fifty five-yr-old television presenter compared her
depression to her devastation on the loss of life of 'Countdown' co-host
Richard Whiteley in 2005 and admitted that if it wasn't for her children,
Cameron, 19, and Katie, 24, she may also have considered suicide.
She told The solar: "Had I been in extraordinary
occasions, I may want to recognize why people take their lives - due to the
fact you can not think about a way out.
"I could not see the point of going on from time to
time. It was a terrible region to be. i've been struck via grief, and skilled
bad times. however this turned into one of a kind.
"we've all had crap instances. i have had a divorce,
numerous things move wrong, my mum's had cancer.
"while Richard died i used to be struck by using grief,

feeling low
