"Paris is a high terror risk and multiplied with threats... while your police and private military businesses are focusing on numerous massive issues, potential terrorist attacks, they're no longer specializing in a number of the smaller problems — petty crime, robberies, basic street crime — they're coping with the fact there could be a car with explosives driving downtown Paris."

DeFoe even suggested celebs heading to overseas must have kidnapping coverage.

Jason Porter, vp of Pinkerton safety, said situational focus is fundamental when touring to somewhere with safety issues.

“expertise is energy,” he suggested. “…it all comes down to commonplace sense and looking your surroundings and being aware about what you are taking walks into.” 

And Greg Boles, partner managing director with Kroll’s security chance control, said high-profile stars traveling to Paris need to make sure their safety group is properly prepared.

“It calls for loads of increase making plans, and, of direction, that could be transportation to and out of your inn and any websites you'll visit and being sincerely aware of how frequently you're exposed -- that means strolling around at the streets… you are greater exposed in that area that in a guarded facility.”
